The item is made to order because of the various options/colors. This may also apply to some new items until production is complete.
PRE-ORDER
This will usually be done with large production “Specialty” items to ensure those that ACTUALLY want the item will be guaranteed to get them. These “Specialty” items are not kept in stock for future sales.
